Linen 1906
Old banks make the best converted bars. Firstly there's the no-expense-spared interior design. Secondly, you get to picture the staff getting drunk as they count up your shrapnel and put it into little baggies. Linen has managed to carve itself a nice atmosphere, with live music on at weekends. Bit pricey on the drinks, but maybe that's the inherent banking ethos – you know, you hand over your hard-earned cash, and that gets you material possessions which last about fifteen minutes, then you do it all over again. That's how banks work, isn't t it?
