Bennets

Bennets gets a hard time in Glasgow. There aren't many proper gay venues in town, but this is one of the few contenders, and it's everything we'd expect: seedy, cheesy and very good at what it does. No-one comes here looking for profound conversation or cutting edge dance tunes, they come to dance, pull and see PAs from frightened boy bands or has-been dance groups. Bennets will never change and we suspect the punters who regularly pack the place out don't really want it to either. Sure it may not be the classiest joint in Glasgow but hands up who cares? What? Anyone? No, we thought as much.
