Driftwood

Mexican-themed, Driftwood is hard to define, really. One thing becomes clear, however, as soon as you step through the door and are met by about 150 students who are about to storm the bar: it's about as Mexican as a tray of cinema nachos, doused in that lovely congealed cheese. Strangely enough, the drinks are relatively high-priced for a student bar, but they have regular special offers to cushion the financial blow. Probably the best time to visit Driftwood is after having had a good couple of pints elsewhere first, but beware, it's pretty dark in there and the stairs down to the toilets are lethal.
