If you can't stand the thought of spending an evening among dudes and dudettes who've actually got something to say for themselves other than 'Shut it, bawbag!' then avoid this place like the plague and head to the Savoy. However, if you're rather groovy and love vintage disco, funk and soul, this is the place to be. The door staff are cool, the bar staff know what they're doing and the punters are as individual as the music. If you don't have fun here, you won't have it anywhere.
