CCA
The Centre for Contemporary Arts is a big old creative, art-filled heaven. It covers film, dance, visual arts and even has a club to get those little people we call children interested in something other than their Wii. Which should mean there's at least a glimmer of hope for a future that can have something approaching a cultural life. There's also a great café and a bar which is open 'til 11pm, with an eclectic music policy and it's all just funky enough to avoid disappearing up its own bottom, but not too funky to make you feel like you're not cool enough to be there. They should make this place compulsory, it's that good.
