What a great name. The only thing plastic about this Irish pub are the glasses you need to take outside to the beer garden, but we'll give 'em that, it wouldn't do to go throwing broken glass about the place. The stout is grand and so is the nightly entertainment which genuinely reflects a night out in a hometown Irish local. If you're lucky (or not) you might bump into the occasional actor or footballer strutting their stuff in Glasgow's funky West End. Jinty's knocks the green socks off the 'pot o' gold' themed chain pubs all too prevalent in Glasgow. So it does.

04 Feb 2009Totally agree with your summery Jintys is a refreshing uplifting change in this ever increasing bubble of bars platic over the top bars in Ashton Lane, nothing false here at all and delightfull bar staff that acually smile!! The best guinness I have tasted outside of Ireland!!
