Pivo Pivo
You wander downstairs and enter a dark little venue, much like something from Fraggle Rock. Unfortunately it turns out that looks can be very deceiving and this place is nowhere near as excitingly Henson-tastic. Usually frequented by work crowds on their lunch hour or grabbing a quick drink before the train, and boys who like their beer, but not anyone remotely cool or unusual. They serve mainly beer, do amazingly cheap deals on pizza but somehow the whole oppressive atmosphere makes you want to Pivo-off.

28 Sep 2008Hi, my name's Gary, i'm the band booker at Pivo Pivo. Was having a wander round t'interweb to see what people are saying about us. I can't really agree with the idea that Pivo is "oppressive". Yeah, we get people having working lunches, and an office crowd on a friday, but six nights a week it's gigs all the way, and if you want cool and unusual, come to our eclectiv night on a tuesday. Had a guy last week making music on his gameboy. Call me a geek, but i call that cool, and definitely unusual. Anyway, you should come back whoever you are and see what's happening here. Peace. Gary
