Cafe Mao
It's hard to not feel cheery walking into Cafe Mao. The combination of modern design and the crayon-box colour scheme reminds us at once of childhood festivals and gay pride parades. Mao's menu is a trim selection of Asian fusion dishes (fused with what, we're not quite sure), but the chilli lime beef was a revolution of its own. On Itchy's visit, Mao had a rather relaxed definition of lunchtime for their set menu, bringing the prices easily within reach of the proletariat.
