Grassroots Café

This cosy, veggie café is heaven-sent, despite being located slightly away from the city's main action areas. Yet with such a wide-ranging menu and some enticing smells wafting out from the open kitchen, even the most bloodthirsty of carnivores will be hard-pressed not to want to stay awhile and sample a selection of the wares on offer. Great for lazy breakfasts too, it's so much more than just a haunt for the local hippies. But man, you gotta dig those purple velvet curtains.
