The Doublet

A proper little traditional pub near Great Western Road. This small but busy bar attracts everyone from students to touring rock bands and it's almost like a Scottish version of Cheers where everyone knows your name whether you want them to or not. But that means a venue where it's all about getting on with people and getting down to some proper boozing. Intimate and cosy, Itchy recommends donning a doublet (if you can't find one, you can borrow ours) and making friends with the locals. You'll soon find yourself wishing you lived here too.
