A slightly scary place, but if belting out karaoke hits is your thing, you'd be mad to go anywhere else. Oldies, students, workies and good ol' fashioned neds all flock here in their hundreds to show off their talents, murdering classics like I Will Survive and It's Raining Men and taking it all a little too seriously. Yes, Pop Idol beauty Michelle McManus did sing here once upon a time, but that shouldn't put you off. Because if anyone's going to get up there and show everyone else how it's really done, it's you.
