A bit of a Glasgow institution and certainly the kind of place that makes you feel dreadfully overweight and unattractive the minute you walk in. It would seem that there is more toned, bronzed flesh and white teeth per square centimetre than in Pamela Anderson's vanity mirror. The bar has a great cocktail list, which is great for helping you burn through your meagre wage packet in an abortive attempt to make good things happen with that elusive bit of eye candy. Lively from early on, and with a good music policy, Bar Kandi is a splendid place to start a night out on the town.
