The Buttery
The Buttery is so refined that you might get a sharp rap across the knuckles for slouching at the table. It's been around for 147 years, won countless awards and although it used to be the most exclusive restaurant in Glasgow, you'd be hard pushed to find someone under 35 who eat here nowadays. The food is Scottish, they do a top-notch spread but the portions are teenier than your wee toe, and the interior is beautiful, if a little stuffy. An original Glasgow institution nonetheless.
