Not quite polished to Buchanan Street's standards, Sauchiehall Street lags behind in the race for top dog. Pound shops, Primark and McDonalds linger here sniggering as you get blisters on your feet wandering aimlessly. Once a shopper's paradise, this long walk to nowhere is memorable only for the gum welded to your trainers and that lingering smell of stale smoke.
