Brutti ma Buoni
Located in the heart of Glasgow's Merchant City is the hip and
happening Brunswick Hotel, (a.k.a. Brutti Ma Buoni) serving good,
honest student-orientated meals that you'd be more than happy to let
your boss eat. We were blown away by the food, especially the home-made
chips, just stopping short of asking the chef for their hand in
marriage. If you're not a student don't be put off, you can still
appreciate the effortlessly trendy vibe and just call it retro instead.
Some might think that it is actually rather too sophisticated for
students to enjoy on their own - they call pizza Brutti Bread, for
god's sake. For a little excitement, we recommend trying to find your
way to the toilets through the camouflaged corridors, a definite
highlight of ours, especially after sampling a few of the many bottles
of Cava on offer from the bar.
