Brutti ma Buoni
Sleek greys and long, flowing lines, brutti ma buoni is also the residents' bar of the adjoining and rather hotshot Brunswick Hotel. So, it would seem that 'brutti ma buoni' – which translates as 'ugly but good', linguists – more likely describes the pizzas –crazy little misshapen nutters –than the watering hole itself. Fear not –they pass the taste test with flying colours, as does all the food on the witty and damned cheap menu. Merchant City fashionistas provide the clientele. What's Italian for "the proof of the pizza is in the eating?"
