The Sports Café
The idea of a sports café is a well–worn and excellent one, where sports from across the spectrum are showing on different TVs so that in the States – where it originated –, the baseball fans mingle with the American Football jocks and the ice hockey nuts, and then they all get drunk on Coors Lite and, like, bond, or something. In Glasgow everyone watches football though so it doesn't really work. Instead The Sports Café has become a run–of–the–mill, rather pricey pre–club haunt for the cattlemarket nightclubs. Although at least it doesn't sell Coors. Late food and late licence are plus points though.
