The McLellan Galleries
Built in 1856 and ravaged by fire in the 1980's, the McLellan galleries reopened in 1990 after a £3m restoration. The largest high–quality, air–conditioned, temporary exhibition space outside London and now host to the Art Treasures of Kelvingrove – a display of Glasgow's best–loved artworks – while the Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum is closed for refurbishment.
