Ok, he may not be as famous as Zeus or Apollo, but we have a lot to thank Bacchus –the Roman god of wine –for. Named after his highness, the coffee bar and restaurant, Bacco, features wine from every Italian region – available by the glass or by the bottle –. So you can drink your way around the continent without even getting off your chair, although regular toilet trips are recommended. Don't forget to line your stomach with the Italian–style tapas –bacconcini –or a cup of their home roasted coffee. Strangely, what with all that free flowing wine, the staff looked as though life held no meaning. Don't get us wrong, we like a brooding Italian as much as the next man/woman/Soprano's casting agent, but mainly in the bedroom, not near the dining table.
