Revolver Bar

What a charming place. Quietly hidden away on John Street, the Revolver Bar just does its own thing without bothering anyone else. It's like it knows it doesn't need to try hard to be cool, whatever anyone else says. There's a free jukebox that offers more than the usual Aretha Franklin and the Scissor Sisters, polite, friendly staff and a sense of calm that you don't find in many drinking holes, gay or straight, in Glasgow. Definitely the place to head whenever you're in need of some straightforward socialising in the company of decent people.
