Harry Ramsden's
God bless the man who thought to julienne the sacred potato, ram it in a vat of hot fat and top it off with a lump of battered fish. Ramsden's is the Alton Towers of chip-shops: big, brash and totally consistent. Run with military precision, they're definitely good at what they do. Still it is just an upmarket chain chippy, what more can we say?
