Polo Lounge, The
A cut above Bennets, but to be honest that really isn't hard. The décor is slightly dodgy, in that it's a bit like a room in a gentlemen's club. And the atmosphere here is roughly in the same vein: old fashioned and, well, a bit boring. Strange then, that this place proves to be popular night after night with its varied music, strict door policy and well stocked bar. It's just camp enough without being over the top. We guess it'll do for the time being, but Itchy's dreaming of the day when someone comes along and tries to do something just a little bit clever for Glasgow's gay clubbers.
