Candy Bar Hope
One of Glasgow's original 'style bars' when the phrase was much touted and desired a few years back. Nowadays Candy Bar is a little shabby in comparison to some, but the clientele have remained bright, sharply dressed and upwardly mobile. Massive sheets of glass at the front allow passers-by to peer in at the beautiful - well, semi-hot - people, or the other way round. It's good for munching too, with a menu that sits at the top-end of the 'bar-food' scale - price wise as well - for those looking for something a bit more special than burgers or potato skins.
