70s revival bar that remembers The Supremes and Travolta, rather than strikes, the Cold War and Scotland drawing with Iran in the '78 world cup . Tacky decor with cheesy lighting, it's certainly not the 'in' place, but, that's probably the whole point. If it's a proper 70s pub, it's worth protesting with the barman that beer should only be 24p a pint. If you don't mind running foul of the fashion police, you may have found your home from home. Don the afro and voulez-vouz your heart out, 'coz in ten years time, we'll have the same revival with the 80s, and then you'll have to dress like Nik Kershaw.
