Republic Bier Halle

Republic is a recent, and welcome addition to Glasgow's bar scene. An underground oasis, right in the heart of the city centre, just off Buchanan Street –look out for the Republic scooter outside. It's becoming quite a popular little spot with Glasgow's selective young drinkers. With more than 100 bottled beers and vodkas from countries you've never heard of, you're not likely to bump into any beered up louts here. A rather earthy interior, with stone–look walls, and stools made of ruddy great chunks of wood. A very chilled and civilised atmosphere, and thoroughly recommended.
