Glasgow Botanic Gardens
Better than Kelvingrove Park. Fact. There are glasshouses for when the weather turns, and particularly rewarding in high summer is a game of 'Obstacle Frisbee' on the gardens' main lawn, which involves two or more people throwing the disc from one end of the grass to the other while 600 lounging students, office workers and parkbenchers duck and protest. The lower your throw, the more points you get. The winner receives a congratulatory bag of crisps in their flavour of choice.
