Glasgow Film Theatre
Since its initial screening of Federico Fellini's Roma in 1974, the GFT has entertained the city's film aficionados and culture snobs and has also welcomed many a celebrity such as Scorsese, de Niro, McGregor, and others with impressive–sounding tri–syllabic surnames. Many more have helped fund the cinema through seat dedication sponsorship. A haven if you prefer your film viewing minus the sound of someone eating popcorn with their mouth open and whiney kids pester–powering their mothers into shelling out a fiver for a Honey I Pimped The Kids novelty eraser.
